Today, as always, baby boomers are having a major influence in our society. There are millions of people born between 1946 and 1964 and whether it be health or finances or even entertainment, due to the enormous number of baby boomers, we affect every aspect of our local and national community. Baby boomers are a cool generation.

The boomer generation, as they have aged, have been causing a large bubble of people to pass through all institutions and services over the last 50 years. Now we are looking at a severe shortage of doctors to serve the increasing number of boomers reaching MediCare age. This is real and not likely to change, which makes it even more important that we take responsibility for our health, and watch how we eat, rest, and exercise, on our own.

We have always liked Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and have vacationed there many times, but it seems more and more boomers are making it their permanant retirement home. Here a short video about one couple that sold everything, bought a boat and sailed for a year before deciding to make it their home. It’s basically an ad for Puerto Vallarta, but that’s not a bad thing.
